LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being shot in the Newburg neighborhood Sunday evening.
Matthew Sanders, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to the 8900 block of Kaprun Court on a reported shooting around 9:30 p.m.
Police found a man in his early 60s who had been shot in the stomach. He was taken to UofL Hospital and is expected to survive, police said.
According to police, it's believed the incident took place in the 5800 block of Russett Place.
The Domestic Violence Unit is investigating and all parties have been accounted for.
