LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man was hospitalized after being shot Thursday evening in Louisville's Shawnee neighborhood.
Louisville Metro Police responded around 10:06 p.m. on reports of a shooting in the 300 Block of Cecil Avenue near Herman Street. That's by the Academy @ Shawnee.
Once on the scene, officers found a man who had been shot. Police said he was taken to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other information about the victim or what led up to the shooting has been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
