LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was hospitalized after a shooting in Louisville's Southside neighborhood Wednesday evening.

Dwight Mitchell, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to a reported shooting in the 6600 block of Southside Drive at 6 p.m.

Police found a man with a gunshot wound at the location. He was taken to UofL Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to LMPD.
