LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man is dead after being shot multiple times in Louisville's Taylor Berry neighborhood.

According to Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Sgt. Matthew Sanders, officers responded to a shooting in the 900 block of Euclid Avenue around 12:40 a.m. Wednesday.

When they arrived on scene, they found a man in his 30s with "multiple gunshot wounds to his torso area."

Officers had to apply "multiple" chest seals to the victim before he was transported to University Hospital. He died shortly after arriving, Sanders said.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, but has no suspects and has made no arrests.
