LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being shot in the Beechmont neighborhood Saturday evening, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said police responded to a shooting in the 4500 block of South 1st Street, near Southern Parkway, around 6:30 p.m. When police arrived on scene, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to his arm.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive, according to Bradley.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating the shooting.
