LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being shot in the Chickasaw neighborhood Friday night, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded to a shooting in the 800 block of South 42nd Street, near Broadway, around 11 p.m. When police arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot in the arm.
He was taken to the hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Detectives are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
There aren't any suspects in the shooting.
