LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after a shooting in the Wyandotte neighborhood Sunday morning, according to Louisville Metro Police.

LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police responded to a shooting in the 700 block of Camden Avenue, near Southern Parkway, around 1:05 a.m. When police arrived on scene, they found a man who had been shot in the leg.

He was taken to the hospital with injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening, according to police.

Detectives are working to learn what led up to the shooting and a possible motive, according to Ellis. LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit will be handling the investigation.

There aren't any suspects in the shooting.
