LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being shot Tuesday morning on Broadway in downtown Louisville, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said police responded to a shooting in the 200 block of East Broadway, near Brook Street by a bus stop, around 11:30 a.m. The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating the incident. Bradley said detectives are working to identify who is responsible for the shooting.
