LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Nelson County teacher was arrested for child sex abuse.
Richard Marzec, 41, is facing first degree sexual abuse charges.Â
According to Danville Police, Marzec is a teacher at Old Kentucky Home Middle School.Â
Police said the crime happened in 2018, when the victim was 7 years old. According to online jail records, Marzec was arrested on Dec. 6.
Marzec is expected to be in court Tuesday morning. He's currently being held at the Boyle County Detention Center. According to court records, he's being held on a $20,000 cash bond.
