LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police identified the man was shot and killed March 3 in Louisville's Portland neighborhood.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said Terry Michael Tidwell, 44, died after suffering gunshot wounds in the 2900 block of Rowan Street.
Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Aaron Ellis said officers received a ShotSpotter call around 1:20 a.m. As officers were enroute, the call was upgraded to a shooting.
A man was found outside suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers and EMS rendered First Aid to him, but he was pronounced dead on the scene.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating but has no suspects and has made no arrests as detectives look into what led up to the shooting.
