LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police arrested a southern Indiana man for allegedly running a dentist office without a license.
Seymour Police said on Tuesday, officers received a tip about 31-year-old Fredy Felipe Pascual, alleging he was doing dental work "possibly illegally."Â
According to Lt. C. J. Foster with the Seymour Police Department, a person contacted police saying they went to a home on Gaiser Drive to get a tooth pulled and later ended up going to the hospital.Â

"She was in some pretty significant pain, and it was determined there was an infection. Emergency staff treated her immediately for that and then ultimately referred her on to a dentist office. And they did find some signs of a partial broken tooth that was left behind," Foster said.Â
The police department got a warrant and searched the home on Gaiser Drive.
"Upon executing that search warrant we did locate evidence of a dentist's office being operated in town," said Foster.Â
Foster said items found included dental instruments, medications, ledgers and cash.
Police arrested Fredy Felipe Pascual on Wednesday for allegedly practicing dentistry without a state license, a felony, and criminal recklessness. He is being held at the Jackson County Jail.Â
Foster said Pascual also goes by the last name of "Chapin."
"We located numerous, false state government issued IDs as well with his photograph," said Foster.
Foster said similar allegations were brought up in 2022, but there wasn't enough information to get a search warrant at that time. Â
Seymour Police ask anyone with information to call police.
As of the latest update on March 27, Pascal's pending charges include practicing dentistry without a license and criminal recklessness, according to the Jackson County Clerk's Office. His bond was posted at $1,500. He's scheduled to be in court on April 12.Â
