LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating after a fatal shooting near the Algonquin Park early Monday.
The shooting happened just before 10:30 a.m. That's when LMPD officers received a report of a shooting in the area of 26th and Wilson, according to a news release from LMPD. Officers responding to that location found a man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
After further investigation, it was determined that the victim had been shot in the 1700 block of Cypress Street.
All parties involved in the shooting have been accounted for, according to the release.
