LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police in Louisville are looking for three self-proclaimed "handymen" who have allegedly been stealing merchandise from area stores.
According to a social media post by the Louisville Metro Police Department, the trio has been shoplifting from area Lowe's Home Improvement stores since July, usually in the late afternoon.
Police say they've walked out with, "hundreds, if not thousands of dollars' worth of construction materials, supplies, and even taking lawn equipment."
According to the post, police believe the men have been portraying themselves as "handymen" and doing odd jobs in the community.
LMPD released images of the suspects.
"If you have any information about these three and the possible vehicle they are driving, please let us know," police posted. "The pictures are pretty clear. If you have seen them, maybe you recognize that sweatshirt the one individual is wearing, or maybe they have done work for you."
Anyone with information on their identities or whereabouts is asked to call LMPD's anonymous tipline at (502)574-LMPD(5673) or you can use the online Crime Tip portal at LMPD Crime Tip Portal.
