LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A couple in Seymour, Indiana was arrested on child molestation charges after a nearly two-week investigation, Indiana State Police said.

ISP in Versailles began investigating April 10 after the Indiana Department of Child Services reported allegations of abuse involving a minor, according to a release.

After an investigation, police learned a married couple — Raven Dyer, 29, and Farron Dyer, 30 — allegedly molested and battered a juvenile in Jackson County earlier this year.

Police said officers arrested the couple Wednesday, April 22 on preliminary charges of child molestation, sexual misconduct with a minor, neglect of a dependent and battery.

The couple was taken to the Jackson County Jail, where they remain in custody awaiting formal charges following a court appearance.

The investigation remains ongoing.
