LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 37-year-old man was arrested in Florence, Alabama, in connection to a Louisville deadly shooting that took place on Aug. 15, 2023.
Back in November 2023, Louisville Metro Police said it was looking for Lamarr Jones, who was an alleged murder suspect.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said police were called around 10:10 p.m. to South 26th and Market streets to a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot.

Terrez Cureton was found with a gunshot wound and was taken to UofL Hospital, where he later died.
Police said the alleged suspect, Jones, shot Cureton. He is facing murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon charges.
LMPD posted on social media Wednesday that Jones was arrested in Florence thanks to the help of multiple agencies in the area.
