LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) ā The University of Kentucky Police are investigating a sexual assault that occurred on campus.
In a crime bulletin release Sunday, UK Police said they received a report on Friday, Sept. 20 of a sexual assault. Police said the incident happened "over multiple days off campus and on campus inside the victim's room in a residence hall."
Police said the victim and suspect know each other, and that campus organizations are helping the victim.
UK Police said they are investigating.
This is the second sexual assault to happen this month at the university. Another sexual assault was reported on Sept. 4. In that case, police said the victim was strangled and sexually assaulted in her room in a residence hall.
