LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police is investigating after a woman showed up to UofL Hospital on Monday morning with a gunshot wound.

The woman showed up just before 1 a.m. Monday by private means with a gunshot wound on her wrist. Police said she told detectives she was shot while she was driving near 38th and West Market streets.

She is expected to survive.

LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating but has no suspects and has made no arrests.
