LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The first episode of Crossroads Season 2 launches Wednesday on WDRB+, available for on-demand streaming.
Season 2 gets underway with a trip to Paoli, Indiana, for some falls, food and fun. Host Dalton Godbey is on the road to find experiences unique to Paoli.
The first stop in Episode 1 is at Paoli Peaks. The alpine ski resort opened in 1978 and has been welcoming skiers, snowboarders and tubers ever since. The southern Indiana climate poses challenges for keeping the slopes covered in snow, and Crossroads discovers how the Vail Resorts-owned resort keeps its visitors happy (and sore).
A quick stop at Paoli's greasy spoon BBQ joint, Porkys, will make your mouth water. If the fall-off-the-bone ribs, smoked wings, brisket and house-made pork rinds don't keep you busy, the local memorabilia covering the walls will take you on a trip through Paoli time.
Plus, Crossroads is leading the way down the beaten path to Wilstem Wildlife Park. The exotic animal zoo features elephants, giraffes, kangaroos and everything in between. Come to watch Godbey play with Rafiki the Lemur and stay to see him get spit on by a llama!
The first episode of Crossroads Season 2 is now streaming on WDRB+. Other stops in Season 2 will include Elizabethtown, Bullitt County, Indianapolis, French Lick and more. New episodes will release every two weeks, on Wednesdays, on WDRB+.Â
