Deckers opens under same roof as White Castle

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- White Castle is stacking the deck when it comes to giving customers something new.

Deckers just opened in Jeffersontown.

This is only the second location in the nation to operate under the same roof with a brand new White Castle.

White Castle is there to serve the favorites, including sliders. But Deckers features triple-decker grilled and cold sandwiches, soups and salads.

The concept comes after customers wanted more fast-casual dining options.

"So you can tailor to your tastes and have something that fits your diet, in terms of whether you want something for maybe a more active lifestyle, or maybe traditional like that double cheeseburger," says White Castle vice president Jamie Richardson.

40 new jobs were created with the opening of this restaurant.
