LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Clarksville Community School Corporation Board approved a new teacher contract on Tuesday.

The contract runs for one year and includes a $2,000 increase for all teachers.

That brings the district’s starting salary to just over $54,000 and raises the salary cap to $89,000.

The board also said it is committed to increasing contributions to employee insurance premiums to make the district more competitive.
