LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Students at the Academy at Shawnee learned about business Tuesday from Maggie Harlow -- Jack Harlow's mom.
Maggie Harlow spoke to students about entrepreneurship and running a company. Harlow, a longtime Louisville business owner, owns Signarama Downtown.Â
She also holds the title of "Mom" to rap star and JCPS grad Jack Harlow.
"I feel like it's important for people in the community to spend time in the schools, I think it's important to open their minds to lots of different ideas," she said. "For me, it's all about hard work, focus and learning from your mistakes."
Harlow took a tour of the school and spoke with about 70 Management and Entrepreneurship Pathway students during her visit.Â
