LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Months after a Jefferson County Public Schools' bus driver and a student became viral sensations, the two are still making a difference.

JCPS bus driver Larry Farrish Jr. was driving Levi, a first grader, to Engelhard Elementary School when he noticed his drastic behavioral change. The usual happy boy was sad and tearfully told Farrish he didn't have pajamas for Pajama Day at school.

After finishing the route, Farrish bought two pairs of pajamas and brought them to the school for Levi to keep. After pictures were posted on social media, the act of kindness went viral. People as far away as England, Norway and Portugal reached out to JCPS.

On Monday, all 300 students at Engelhard Elementary got some new pajamas.

"Today was a fun, fun, fun day," Levi said.

Patricia Poggi started EJ's PJs in Long Island, New York to provide pajamas to children who need them the most. She said Farrish embodied their mission when he gave Levi the pajamas.

"We want all of Engelhard Elementary School to have pajamas and we don't want any of the kids to ever have the circumstances like little Levi had," Poggi said.

EJ's PJs partnered with Toys for Tots and traveled nearly 800 miles for the party that gifted pajamas to every student.

"Someone's always watching, no matter if it's a small act of kindness or a large act, someone's watching and when you least expect it life will come at you really fast," Farrish said.

Those small acts of kindness can change someone's life for the better.

"Pay attention to the kids," Farrish said. "Every kid deserves something. They're oblivious to what we go through as adults, so just let them be kids and be there for them and guide them."
