LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Greater Clark County Schools (GCCS) said it is investigating an incident between a staff member and a student at Jeffersonville High School.

The district became aware of a video circulating online of the incident.

In a statement posted on social media, GCCS said, “The safety and well-being of our students, staff, and school community remain our highest priority.”

The district added that it has been communicating with school security as part of the ongoing investigation.

GCCS did not provide further details about the incident, citing the need to protect the privacy of those involved.
