LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Some Louisville young people who are working to make the community better through music released a new video.
The Real Young Prodigys released a new song "Where My Bus At," which highlights Jefferson County Public Schools' transportation issues over the last year.
The group won $500,000 from the Lewis Prize for Music on the Tamron Hall Show. The group was recognized for its song "Crown."
The song was influential in passing a Louisville ordinance that prohibits discrimination against someone based on hairstyle.
"Busing and teacher shortage is a nationwide issue," said NyRee Clayton-Taylor. "This is me and my students' way of discussing a community issue."
