LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The entire town of Palmyra, Indiana, will be without water for several hours Tuesday night while crews work on the town's water tower.
Water service will be shut off starting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and is expected to remain off until midnight, according to a post from town officials.
Crews will be installing a valve on the water tower, the post said. The shutoff will affect all Palmyra water customers in town.
Once water service is restored, the town will also be under a boil water advisory. That advisory is expected to remain in place until sometime Friday.
