LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Keep an eye out for ticks this summer.

Experts say a mild winter mixed with the coronavirus pandemic could make this year's season especially rough.

When temperatures go up, ticks that were once dormant could become active again.

Experts with the Lyme Disease Research Group at the University of New Haven say many people who have been stuck inside during the pandemic may let their guard down once they go outdoors.
