LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- TheĀ U.S. Food and Drug Administration is warning pet owners after a brand of dog treats was recalled.
TDBBS, a Virginia-based pet store company, recalled over 3,500 bags of its Green Tripe dog treats due to possibly containing metal objects.
The treats were sold under the brands Barkworthies and Best Bully Sticks.
The FDA said the treats were sent to stores across the country and sold online between February and May of 2024.
No injuries or illnesses have been reported so far.
If you believe your pet consumed the affected product, the FDA said to monitor any signs of unusual behavior and contact your vet immediately.
