LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A fire broke out at the BlueOval SK Battery Park in Glendale.
A fire started in an "unmanned, exterior building" on the southwest side of the Kentucky 1 plant around 5 p.m. Sunday, Mallory Cooke, a company spokesperson, said in a release.
Cooke said the plant initiated its emergency protocol, and Glendale Volunteer Fire Department responded as per normal procedures.
Emergency responders were able to get the fire under control quickly, and the fire was contained to the building's exterior.
There were no injuries reported. The plant continued with its normal operations.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
