LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- No injuries were reported after fire tore through a vacant building in west Louisville Monday evening.Â
It happened just before 8 p.m. on Feb. 17, according to a news release from the Louisville Fire Department. That's when crews responded to reports of a vacant building on fire in the 2400 block of W. Broadway.
Firefighters arrived about three minutes after the first report was received to find a flames visible on the second floor of the two-story building.
Crews began fighting the flames inside while searching the building and protecting nearby buildings. Those buildings were not damaged by the fire.Â
No one was found inside, and no injuries were reported.
It took 25 firefighters approximately 57 minutes to gain control of the fire. There's no word yet on a cause.
