LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Ford's new electric truck is already sold out.
The motor vehicle company closed reservations for its F-150 Lightning Electric pickup after all 200,000 slots were filled.
Ford received more than 40,000 orders for the trucks in the first two days of reservations in May. Production is expected to start early next year.
People with orders could start receiving their trucks in the spring of 2022. The trucks cost around $40,000.
