LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A former UK quarterback is in trouble with the law.

Our partners at Business First report that police have arrested former player Randy Jenkins. He's accused of stealing more than $25,000 from banks in Harlan County, Kentucky.

Jenkins played for the Cats in the 1980s.

He's accused of taking counterfeit checks to banks and withdrawing money from closed accounts.

Jenkins has been indicted on two counts of theft by deception, including writing cold checks.
