LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Another ripple effect from the city's budget cuts, the Frankfort Avenue Trolley Hop planned for this weekend has been scrapped.
Officials canceled Friday's trolley hop because it didn't have a sponsor. The news was posted to Facebook on Monday.
Future trolley hops are still planned, but officials now need sponsors to back the monthly event, because its funding was cut in the city's budget, the post explains.
