LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Voters headed to the polls today to determine the Democratic nominee in the race for Kentucky Senate, District 33.
Polls closed at 6 p.m.Â
The race was between three candidates: long-time incumbent Gerald Neal, Neal's former legislative aide, Charles Booker, and former Jefferson County Judge Joan "Toni" Stringer.
Here are the final polling numbers with 100 percent of precincts reporting:
Gerald Neal:Â Â Â Â Â Â 9,013 votes; Â Â 48Â percent
Joan Stringer:Â Â Â Â 5,945Â votes; Â Â 32 percent
Charles Booker:Â Â Â 3,679Â votes; Â 20Â percent
