Summer means picnics. But picnics are usually full of calories, salt, sugar and fat.
For example, just one piece of extra crispy fried chicken breast from Kentucky Fried Chicken packs 510 calories, 33 grams of fat, and 1250 milligrams of sodium.
Mae Pike joins us with a few options that will keep you from ditching your picnic or your diet.Â
She suggests grilled chicken with a flavorful peach salsa. Â
She also offers a more healthy Cabbage Crunch Slaw, which skips the mayo for a dash of sweetness.
