LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Honda says it plans to increase production at its Greensburg, Indiana factory.

They hope to add 50,000 vehicles a year and hire about 300 more employees for the additional work.

The company said it would spend $40 million at the Greensburg factory to boost its production of Civic, Civic Natural Gas and Acura ILX sedan models.

Honda says it expects to hire the new workers this year and start the increased production early in 2013.
