LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A historic New Albany farmhouse that was relocated a few years ago is now up for sale.

Indiana Landmarks is selling the Smith-Phillips Farmhouse for $199,900.

The farmhouse was built in the 1860s for the son of Floyd County pioneer Martin Smith, who purchased the land in the 1830s, according to Indiana Landmarks. It was then sold to the Phillips family in 1941 before they sold it in 2000.

The house was located on Charlestown Road, right in front of Northside Christian Church. But in April 2022, it was moved to the corner of Charlestown Road and Lewis A. Endres Parkway, just north of the church, by the entrance to Kevin Hammersmith Memorial Park.

Northside purchased the home in 2000, and had been using it as an office until early 2022. The church donated it to Indiana Landmarks in the hopes of turning it into something new.

The two-story house is more than 1,500-square-feet and sits on a .27-acre lot. According to the real estate listing, the home could become an office, restaurant or retail space.

Indiana Landmarks said the property will be sold "subject to a preservation and conservation easement held by Indiana Landmarks governing exterior rehabilitation."
