LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — One person was injured Friday in a major fire in Fern Creek.
Officials said crews from Fern Creek, Okolona and Fairdale Fire Departments were called to the 11000 block of Rocky Road around 1:20 p.m. for a heavy house fire.
A family pet was also rescued and treated with an oxygen mask designed for animals.
About 25 firefighters took 20 minutes to get the fire under control. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
