LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An inmate at a state prison in Oldham County was found guilty of manslaughter in connection with a 2020 death, according to Kentucky State Police.
KSP received a report of an unresponsive man after a physical altercation at Kentucky State Reformatory on Nov. 22, 2020. DeCarlo Conn was taken to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead.
Police said Conn and Glenn Odom, who was also an inmate at the prison, were involved in a physical altercation. After an investigation, Odom was indicted for one count of murder, one count of tampering with physical evidence and one count of persistent felony offender.
A jury trial was held in Oldham County earlier in October. Odom was found guilty of manslaughter, tampering with physical evidence and being a persistent felony offender.
Odom is expected to be sentenced on Nov. 26, 2024.
