MADISON, Ind. (WDRB)- A southern Indiana county lost its fight over courthouse repairs today.
In 2009, the Madison courthouse was damaged by fire during a renovation.
Jefferson County, Indiana wanted contractors to pay for the repairs, saying workers' negligence while welding copper caused the fire.
The building sustained heavy damage to the bell tower and third floor.
