LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An investigation is underway after two hikers found human remains in Jessamine County, Kentucky, last week.
The Jessamine County Sheriff's Office said it was told about the remains around 3:15 p.m. on Dec. 27 by two men who were hiking in the Indian Falls area.
The sheriff has confirmed that the skeletal remains appear to be from a male.
The bones are now in the hands of the Kentucky Medical Examiner's office to be tested and identified.
