LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Golfers took to the links Saturday for the Jimmy Stone Memorial Golf Scramble.
It took place at the Long Run Golf Course near Middletown.
This was the sixth year for the event. It honors Louisville Water employee Jimmy Stone who died in 2019.
The golf scramble started in his name to raise money for the neighborhood house in Portland.
"It's a blessing to have this event every year to honor my husband, raise money for a great organization and do something that Jimmy would have loved being associated with," widow Carla Stone said.
There were prizes and raffles and they raised $14,585.
