LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Exposition Center is making some changes to its price structure for parking.
Prices aren't going up, but one lower-priced option will no longer be available next year. Currently it costs $12 for single-time entry parking, and $15 for in/out parking. Both of those options are available now and can be purchased online and/or at the gate.
Starting in 2025, the only parking option at the gate will be the $15 in/out option. Starting January 1, 2025, visitors can only purchase single-time entry parking passes online for $12. Visitors who choose to purchase on-site will need to purchase an in/out parking pass for $15, allowing them to leave and return to the property within the same day.
The in/out pass was first offered at select events in 2022, and has been the preferred pass by visitors throughout events held in 2024.
If you frequently park at the expo center, you can save money by purchasing an annual pass. The price starts at $75 if you purchase one before Dec. 25. After that, the price goes up to $99 until the end of January. The price will increase to $129 in February.
The Expo Center is currently undergoing $472 million in upgrades including enhancing traffic flow in and out.
