LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man is dead after being hit by a train in southern Indiana early Saturday morning.

Floyd County Sheriff's Office said officers responded to the area of 9535 State Road 64 in Georgetown Saturday about 2:22 in the morning on a report of a pedestrian hit by a train.

Officers found 30-year-old Camden Reed, of Crestwood, Kentucky, laying on the ground next to the railway overpass, the Floyd County Sheriff's Office said. Officers performed life-saving measures until EMS arrived.
