LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Officials say a Kentucky Transportation Cabinet worker was found dead inside a vehicle in Christian County after it became stuck.

The man was found just before 7:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Christian County EMA Director Randy Graham.

Authorities say the man was plowing roads when he ran off the side of Highway 115. The area is one mile north of Barkers Mill Road in the Pembroke area.

According to Graham, the man called a supervisor to have someone come pull out his vehicle.

Officials say the man was later found dead in the driver's seat of his truck, which was still running.

Authorities say there is no time frame available between the time the man placed a call for help and the time he was found.

The man's name has not been released. His death is being investigated by the Christian County Coroner.
