LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Those still needing to get their REAL ID and are facing delays during the week may be able to get a walk-in spot this weekend.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will open 14 Regional Driver Licensing Offices for special walk-ins Saturday.

The branches will offer full license services from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Locally, the Dixie Highway, Hurstbourne, Nia Center, Bardstown and Leitchfield offices will open for walk-ins.

Twenty other offices, including the Bowman Field office in Louisville, will only be hosting special Kentucky State Police written driver permit testing events, which required appointments that filled up quickly last week. Those 20 offices will not be open for walk-in licensing services.
