KYTC seeks public comment on Gene Snyder widening plan

The plan calls for I-265 to be widened from Taylorsville Road to the I-71 interchange. The 11-mile stretch would go from four lanes to a total of six lanes.
State officials say merging the highway widening and interchange work will save time and money.Â
KYTC officials said crews will begin clearing areas along I-71 and the interchanges in preparation for construction on Wednesday, Feb. 12.Â
