LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Cookie season kicks off next week for Girl Scouts across Louisville and southern Indiana.
Online cookie ordering starts Monday, Jan. 12.
A Rocky Road ice cream sandwich cookie called Exploremores joins this year's lineup of all the fan favorites. The cookie is filled with chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond-flavored cream.
A box of Adventurefuls, Do-si-dos, Lemon-Ups, Samoas, Tagalongs, Thin Mints and Trefoils cost $6 per box. The gluten-free Toffee-tastic flavor goes for $7 a box.
All proceeds from cookie sales stay local to fund service projects, troop travel and summer camps for girls across the region.
Local scouts can give out their unique website link for Digital Cookie, where you can order local delivery or shipped cookies, as well as donate cookies to U.S. military servicemembers.
Also starting Monday, you can use the Girl Scouts' Cookie Finder website to order cookies straight to your door. The Cookie Finder also serves as a directory of local cookie booths, which will start popping up March 6.
