LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- People of all ages gathered in downtown Louisville Sunday as the city celebrated the greatest.
Sunday was the annual Muhammad Ali Festival Carnival. Each year thousands of people attend the event.
It was a day of games, inflatables, free activities, face painting, and performances.
There was also free access to Ali Center exhibits that all are in honor of Louisville's own Muhammad Ali who passed away nine years ago.
"He was such a magnetic figure that it didn't matter where you came from, what your religion was, what your politics might be, he had the ability to attract people to him from all walks of life," said Muhammad Ali Center President DeVone Holt.
The festival runs through Tuesday.
