LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville men's basketball coach Pat Kelsey recently purchased a $2.6 million home near the Glenview neighborhood.
According to the deed, which was filed with the Jefferson County Clerk's Office on July 16, Kelsey and his wife purchased the house on Glen Springs Court, near US 42 and Lime Kiln Lane. It has six bedrooms, six full bathrooms and two half bathrooms, according to the Jefferson County Property Valuation Administrator. It also has a backyard pool.
The 9,387-square-foot house was built in 2020 after the previous owners purchased the 1.19-acre plot for $1.58 million, according to the PVA.
Kelsey took the Louisville job after spending four years at the College of Charleston, where, after going 17-15 in a rebuild season, he guided the Cougars to a 31-4 record and an NCAA Tournament berth in his second year. They finished 27-8 this year and returned to the NCAA Tournament, where they suffered a first-round loss to 109-96 loss to Alabama.
Kelsey has a record of 261-122 over 12 college seasons, and his teams have won five of 12 conference tournaments: three in nine seasons at Winthrop and two in the last three seasons at the College of Charleston.
Kelsey's rebuilt 2024-25 Cardinals' squad will play a pair of exhibition games against international competition in the 2024 Baha Mar Hoops Summer League from July 28 to Aug. 2.
The six-day trip features two exhibition games: Tuesday, July 30, against the Bahamas at 7 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 1, against University of Calgary at noon, with both games played at the Baha Mar Convention, Arts and Entertainment Center at the Baha Mar resort.
