LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- With Halloween just a few weeks away, some spooky music filled the air on Sunday at Old Forester's Paristown Hall.
The Louisville Orchestra played a mix of older and new songs for families during its annual Orkidstra. Many of the musicians were dressed in costumes.
There were also hands-on crafts and interactive activities, along with plenty of candy. Several local businesses also participated in the event.
The orchestra played for about an hour. It's an event they look forward to every year.
"The musicians absolutely love this concert," said Sarah Lempke O'Hare with the Louisville Orchestra. "Getting to dress up, there is actually going to be a prize. Our orchestra is just amazing that your Louisville Orchestra is here to serve such a wide range of people including families and young kids."
Due to a sponsorship by Deloitte, the event was free for the first time.
